Vinicius Nério Filippini

Hi, I'm Vinicius, a Cambridge CELTA-qualified English teacher with more than eight years of experience teaching teenagers and adults. I am based in Brazil and offer online English lessons to students in Italy.

Your lessons will be planned around your current level and the situations in which you need English. We begin by discussing your goals and identifying what you can already do, as well as the areas you want to improve. This helps us choose useful content and set clear, realistic aims.

In each lesson, you will have opportunities to speak and put new language into use. We revisit language from previous classes and build on it through practical activities. Depending on your needs, we may work with a short video, discuss an article or prepare language for a workplace conversation.

I teach grammar and vocabulary through examples and context, helping you understand patterns before practising them. Pronunciation is also part of our work, including word stress, connected speech and how to make yourself understood. You will receive specific feedback, with time to work on difficulties and try again.

My lessons cover General English and Business English. My academic background in International Business and Foreign Trade, together with experience in export operations, helps me connect professional English lessons with workplace communication. We can focus on explaining your work, writing clearer messages or taking part in discussions with colleagues.

Throughout our lessons, I check your progress and adjust the pace and materials accordingly. You will know what we are working towards and which points need more practice. Tell me what you want to achieve with English, and we can discuss a lesson plan that suits your needs.
