Teaching has always been my passion. The sense of satisfaction and joy that I derive from it, and seeing the students succeed are some of the reasons why I love teaching. Being a Filipino, and English as my second language, I have a high command of the English language. I also have a 4-year experience in English-Filipino translation. Further, with my 7 years of experience in the corporate world, dealing with international clients, I was able to enhance my knowledge of the English language, which goes beyond knowing the grammar, but understanding thought patterns. I tailor my lessons to the needs and current level of my students as much as possible. Sense of humor is one of my key qualities in teaching. It helps so much in keeping the lessons alive and maintaining the atmosphere conducive for the students to learn and be more receptive on what they are learning. I love the English language. And I want my students to love it, too. It helps me to just go around and be confident to talk to people of virtually all races and widen my horizon. That same confidence and benefits of knowing and understanding English is what I want to share to my students. Learning English is fun, and that is definitely guaranteed in my class.
