Ciao Vicky, dipende se vuoi imparare a parlare o imparare l'Inglese in generale. Per il parlato esporsi ad un accento nativo e' piuttosto utile.

Ciao Vicky, dipende dalle tue esigenze e il tuo livello. Se hai un livello piu'basso forse un docente italiano puo' aiutarti di piu´, per esempio spiegandoti la grammatica e a volte aiutandoti con vocaboli in italiano. Se hai un livello piu' avanzato e vuoi focalizzarti su listening e speaking, un madrelingua va benissimo, ma anche un buon docente italiano ti puo' aiutare. L'importante e' che trovi un insegnante che sia un buon fit con te e il tuo modo di apprendimento. Sarei felice ti aiutarti :-)

As long as the teacher knows how to teach and meets your needs, being a mother tongue speaker doesn't matter. The only thing to focus on is if the teacher has correct pronunciation.

Regardless of how skilled you are, practice is crucial. You can now write or speak to this person, depending on your level of proficiency. However, It is not crucial that the person you are practicing with is a native English speaker, which refers to someone who was born in a country where English is the official language. In many cases, a native-like English speaker, or someone who was not born in an English-speaking nation, had learned the language herself and can teach you or make things clearer to you than someone who only picked up the language naturally without taking classes to learn it.
