Offering fun and interactive one-on-one English lessons to students in middle school.

I have been tutoring students since I was in high school and it's something I'm very passionate about. I wish to help students improve their writing, reading and, speaking skills and will go about it in the following ways; Conversation Skills: To improve conversation skills, in my opinion, the best approach is to conduct one-on-one sessions with my student, during which we will discuss pre-selected topics. I will start with the basics and gradually move on to more complex conversations based on the student's responses and understanding. I will focus on clear communication, expanding the student’s vocabulary, and reducing grammatical errors in their speech. Reading Comprehension Skills: For these lessons, I will use a variety of resources (which I will prepare), such as excerpts from novels, research articles, and newspapers, to test and improve the student's reading level during the lesson. I will also quiz them on what they have just read. Additionally, I will assign at-home reading tasks tailored to the student’s reading level. Writing Skills: Practice makes perfect! I plan to have my student write as much as possible during our lessons. I will mainly focus on creative and direct writing so I can help them improve their writing skills by enriching their vocabulary, opening their minds, encouraging imagination, and refining their grammar to make their writing stand out.
