Deniz Isik

Since my childhood, I was always passionate about different languages. I improved my English without getting any lectures or trainings; except the education I got when I was in highschool and so on. I am currently doing my Bachelor's at Yildiz Technical University and my field is Architecture&Urban Planning. Right now, I am an Exchange student at University of Bologna, Italy. While continuing my education, I am trying to improve my teaching skills by working on the things which I love the most. I enjoy having conversations with people from every corner in the world. I read a lot about cultures and ethnicities to keep my curiousity alive. I am fluent in English, Turkish and currently learning Spanish by myself also. I am confident, have excellent communication skills, patient and competent. I have teached to different age groups since I was 18. So that is the reason why I get along with kids too! At the same time, I can easily understand and emphatize what a student expects from the teacher or the lesson because I am also a student.
What can I provide for my students?
- Creating a logical learning structure/schedule which is flexible and efficient,
- Patience, understanding and creating a friendly teaching environment,
- Evaluation in the end of every outcome,
- Having daily conversations in the beginning and the and of the lesson,
- Recommending daily readings and listenings,
- Homeworks about the lesson in that day and retroactive exercises.
