Ezekiel

Hello there, I'm Ezekiel! I was born and raised in Ireland and I am currently based in Italy where I work as a researcher. I have a background in physics but I am fascinated by all things historical and philosophical, specialising in questions surrounding our knowledge of the climate. I am passionate about sharing different aspects of the english language, through conversations about nature, history and literature from all parts of the anglophone world!

Over the last nine years I have tutored students of various levels, helping them improve their confidence in comprehension, and communication. Apart from English I can speak French and Dutch, and I can also understand Spanish, Italian, and some German. This means I can maybe help guide you in your native language when something is unclear. In my lessons I like to draw upon a variety of texts (newspaper articles, essays, poetry), and to include topics that interest you to help build up useful vocabulary for you. I can also help you with academic writing, where I can edit and polish texts that you are currently working on.

I look forward to hearing about your learning aims, and what motivates you to learn the English language, whether it be for work or study. I am especially happy to tailor a lesson plan to meet these aims, whether that means placing greater emphasis on grammar, listening comprehension or simply having conversations about any particular topic! Let me know when you would like to start classes in Bologna or online.
