I became a teacher at a young age and have been keeping up with the newest methods ever since. I have worked full time for years at some well established language academies and all along I have had private students whom I accompanied throughout their careers.
I always aim to create a safe and welcoming environment so my students can express themselves freely. My classes are always student centered. I will design a personalized course based on your goals, interests and abilities once I have gotten to know you, which is after our trial session.
All my lesson plans include a wide range of popular culture which is combined with innovative methods of teaching regarding all the skills. I always recommend some textbooks, one set of default books based on your goals with some other textbooks on the side to strengthen the skills that need more improvement. However, they will not be our only source of material, because we will also work on movies and TV shows, songs and podcasts and TED talks and interviews and other contents on YouTube.
With customized courses, in a self-discovery environment, you'll be practicing the target language related to your goal. whether you are preparing for a language test, a university entrance exam/interview or a vacation/business trip.
I am experienced in teaching English as a second language to students from many different native languages. Given that I specialize in teaching pronunciation, I take into consideration the pitch and intonation of your mother tongue, for instance; Or which vowels and consonants are more difficult for you to pronounce due to fundamental differences between your first language and English.
