I am an economist with a master's degree in Applied Economics. I am currently studying for a Ph.D.
During my doctorate’s teaching internship, I taught the course of Econometrics. Through lecturesin the classroom and a list of exercises lasting 60 class hours, I presented qualitative responseregression models to provide empirical content to economic models and provide structure andpurpose for economic analysis. In the master’s degree, the teaching internship was carried out onthe course of Labour Economics, in which I exposed the main statistics of the Brazilian market, including institutional aspects, and the main indicators and their trends, also with an expositorylecture in the classroom and a list of exercises with a duration of 30 class hours.
Throughout my research career, I have been seeking to improve myself on the subject of statisticsand data analysis, taking courses such as Machine Learning and Computational Statistics Appliedto Biostatistics. In the Machine Learning course, I learned the fundamental aspects and mainalgorithms of machine learning. For this, I performed practical examples of previously observedsituations in R and Weka software. In Computational Statistics Applied to Biostatistics, I obtainedessential computational subsidies in data manipulation and analysis, besides implementing codesin R and SAS systems. These two courses deepened my knowledge of statistics with practicalapplications in softwares commonly used in economic studies.
Throughout my eight years of experience in the area of ??Social Economy, I have been working on the development of research with different teams and improving myself in learning new methods and statistical analysis through various statistical analyzes in large databases through software such as Stata and R.
